Ahead of Digitalradio´s launch in Germany (coming Monday 1st August 2011) joint project Digitalradio has presented its new internet appearance. All users will find detailed programme information on all radios of the future as well as consumer information before buying a new Digitalradio set. As a highlight function this new page offers a "Receiving Progonosis". Just enter your post code or your village/town and your nationwide Digitalradio in your region appears. A detailed list shows all digital radios available in every German region including detailed programme information and contacts to all radio stations. A briliant tool when deciding to enter the new radio world. If you want to shop around a current list offers about 100 radio sets in the various price ranges.

The launch of the new digitalradio.de webpage sees page responsibility change from "Digital Radio Plattform e.V." to "Projektbüro Digitalradio". In future Digital Radio Platform e.V. will strongly support all business and B2B developments of Digitalradio in Germany. More information you ´ll find here: Digitalradio-plattform.de.

Digitalradio in Germany

1st August 2011 will see the launch of nationwide Digitalradio in Germany. 27 Transmitters will air three PSB sector and 11 commercial radio progremmes: 90 elf – Germany´s football radio, Absolut Radio, Deutschlandfunk, Deutschlandradio Kultur, Dradio Wissen, Energy, ERF radio, Radio Horeb, Kiss FM, Klassik Radio, Lounge FM and Radio BOB. Later this year Remix Radio will join, all offering data services (text and pictures). Some German regions on 1st August will also see the regional launch of ARD and commercial radio offers.
