How about digital radio in other countries?

Many EU countries, neighbouring Switzerland and also Australia have successfully introduced digital radio over the last years. Australia started its DAB+ standard transmissions in May 2009. In 2008 Malta as the first EU state started digital radio transmissions. Norway and Denmark followed soon while countries like the Netherlands, China or Malaysia have expressed their interest to build up their digital radio transmitter networks. All over the world many countries have started to test digital broadcasting.
