The international conference NOW RADIO! which took place on 10th-11th May 2012 in Wroclaw gathered many eminent experts on digital radio from across Europe and also form distant Australia where DAB+ has enjoyed significant success...

The automotive industry has shown a clear commitment to digital radio. Since the introduction of DAB+ 100 days ago digital radio has not only met but exceeded expectation. On the 8 November at the Bayerische Rundfunk (BR) in Munich the ''Press Forum Digital Radio: 100 days of DAB+. More for the car' was held with a panel of experts in attendance who represented the automotive industry and broadcasters.

"KISS national", "sunshine -live" and "Radio BOB!" will join Germany´s  nationwide digital radio offers heads of regional OFCOMS decided during today´s meeting in Munich. Accepting these new radio programmes means updating the rules for the transmission of national digital radio in Germany, launched on 1st August 2011.

Many ARD radios, already on air digital, have won Germany´s 2011 award for excellent radio broadcasting.

90elf, Germanys only football radio, has won Germany´s Radio award "Deutscher Radiopreis" in the "Best Innovation" category. Since 1st August 2011 the internet station has taken the air nationwide on digital radio. Justification of the jury: " If it comes to innovation one station is far ahead of all others. It impressively shows how to use digital media platforms and to spread radio over many other digital "broadcasting" channels. The jury sees this as an outstanding and positive  example. It shows how radio could work in a digital broadcasting future."
